This allows you to have a Linux machine serving files via SMB, where your authentication and autorization for the files and folders is done via Active Directory. Tested the conf just in case: sudo testparm The conf was ok OK.
One common solution is to add --use-ntvfs to the end of the provision command to fix this error. I have Never seen shared folders from a Linux machine before. I still get the message! Change the name of randy-HP-Pavilion-g7-Notebook-PC to a smaller name in both files. More about the author The workgroup name needs to match the other Windows computer's workgroup name.
